The educational system plays a crucial role in equipping children with essential reading skills, ensuring they are prepared for future academic success. However, when literacy proficiency data indicates stagnation, it becomes imperative for educators to reevaluate their approaches and implement effective interventions. Recognizing this need, the PS/IS 266Q Team embarked on an innovative journey, leading a motorcade of dedicated elementary and middle school educators through the intricacies of utilizing literacy interventions more intentionally.

This collaborative initiative aimed to empower teachers with the tools and strategies necessary to revitalize their literacy instruction. By sharing insights, experiences, and best practices, participants engaged in dynamic discussions that highlighted areas of success and identified areas for improvement. This experience underscored the importance of collaboration in revitalizing literacy education, demonstrating that when educators unite, they can have positive impacts on both student outcomes and teacher pedagogy. Join us on this enlightening ride, where every voice contributes to steering our students toward literacy success!
