Enhancing Attendance Accuracy and Stakeholder Engagement: A Year of Reflection

Kayode Ayetiwa Cahn Fellow 2023

Our Cahn project centered on reviewing our progress toward key attendance and student engagement goals for the academic year, framed through the lens of stakeholder engagement. We chose this focus after engaging with various stakeholders—students, staff, and families—to identify our most pressing challenges and opportunities for growth. Over the course of the year, we embarked on a collaborative process that involved data analysis, community input, and innovative problem-solving. A significant outcome of this project has been our enhanced strategies for improving attendance accuracy and empowering student council initiatives. Additionally, we gained valuable insights into leadership growth and development through the Cahn Fellowship program, which has reinforced our commitment to sustainable practices and reflective leadership as we move forward.
