What began as a task to close the learning gap with our subgroup Students with Disabilities led to uncovering a true need to dig deeper into why instructional coaching was deficient. What came out of this exploration was that a barrier existed with evaluative observations ratings that prevented true teacher reflection and instructional coaching. This journey worked through creating, collaborating and implementing an Observation/Feedback method that allowed teachers to improve instructional practice through reflection, collaboration, and designing meaningful actions steps.
